Hola!
I am Manuel Oliveros, footwear and sneakers designer based in Spain.
My work consists in creating product collections such as sneakers, loafers or flip-flops (among others) for fashion brands.
My journey in design began in 2017 through a double degree in Graphic and Fashion Design, in Madrid. After two years, I decided to focus on fashion and apparel. Following four years of specialized fashion design studies in London, Seville, and Naples, I embarked on my first professional project as a footwear designer at Scalpers Company, where I have been since July 2022.
I highlight my international experience in London, where I undertook an intensive fashion design course at Central Saint Martins school. During this program, I had the privilege of learning the renowned Saint Martins research method, based on visual experimentation. This new perspective has transformed my approach to fashion, art, and design, marking a before and after in my individual style.
Personally, I am fascinated by identity and gender expression, particularly in their connection with fashion. I strongly believe in clothing as a means of personal expression and a powerful tool to challenge and redefine social rules.
In design, my focus lies in functionality, technical garments, and sportswear, blending innovation and aesthetics. With my collections, I aim to highlight the key points of each design, capturing the brand's identity while always considering both trends and usability. This showcases my ability to create products that go beyond the conventional.
I am fluent in English and Spanish, with a basic understanding of Italian. My comprehensive approach to fashion, coupled with my experience and ambition, keeps me in constant evolution and learning.
